Vita
Alina König Rannenberg studied at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden with Prof. Hendrikje Wangemann in the master's programme in opera after completing her bachelor's degree at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg with Elisabeth Kovacs. Alina König Rannenberg's operatic repertoire also includes the roles of Zerlina (Mozart's "Don Giovanni"), Ännchen (Weber's "Der Freischütz"), Die Witwe (Dominick Argento's "The Boor"), Mrs. Fiorentino (Kurt Weill's "Street Scene") and Cupido (Offenbach's "Orpheus in der Unterwelt"). The soprano has also performed as a solo soprano in Joseph Haydn's "Stabat Mater", W.A. Mozart's "Exsultate, Jubilate", Saint-Saëns' "Oratorio de Noël", J. S. Bach's St. John Passion as well as his Christmas Oratorio and many other Bach cantatas, including BWV51 ("Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen").
