Tenor Wesley Harrison completed his Bachelor's degree at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada and successfully earned his Master's degree from McGill University in 2022.

While still a student, he appeared at Opera Laurier as Le Doyen in "Cendrillon" and at Opera McGill as Valcour in "L’amant anonyme" and Don Ottavio in "Don Giovanni".

In 2019, he won first prize at both the "Wilfrid Laurier University Concerto Competition" and the "NATS Ontario Vocal Competition", as well as the "Most Promising Singer" award. In 2024, he won the "Laffont Competition".

From 2023 to 2025, Wesley Harrison was a member of the Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio, where he appeared in productions including "Fidelio", "La Bohème", "The Cunning Little Vixen", "Don Pasquale", "Nabucco", and "La reine-garçon". In 2024, he performed the role of Count Almaviva in "Il barbiere di Siviglia" at the Brott Music Festival.

Since the 25/26 season, he has been a member of the International Opera Studio at Cologne Opera. There he has appeared as the First Armoured Man in "Die Zauberflöte", the Dancing Master in "Manon Lescaut", Roggiero in "Tancredi", Maurizio the Cat in "Der Wunschpunsch", Max in "Freikugeln – der Freischütz in fünf Dimensionen", Don Riccardo in "Ernani", and Max in the children's opera "Max und Moritz".

In the 26/27 season, he will appear as Faninal's Major-Domo in Richard Strauss's "Der Rosenkavalier", the opening production marking Cologne Opera's return to Offenbachplatz. He will also perform the roles of Reviewer / Eusebio / Yarini / Paco / Alberto / Federico in Hans Werner Henze's "La Piccola Cubana", presented on the occasion of the composer's 100th birthday, as well as Malcolm in Damiano Michieletto's acclaimed 2018 production of Giuseppe Verdi's "Macbeth", first presented at Teatro La Fenice. In addition, he will sing Nathanael in Stefan Herheim's production of Jacques Offenbach's "The Tales of Hoffmann", Jamie / Lord Boxington in Dietrich Hilsdorf's production of Frederick Loewe's musical "My Fair Lady", and Liberto in Ted Huffman's highly acclaimed production of Claudio Monteverdi's "The Coronation of Poppea". At Kinderoper Köln, he will perform the role of Louis in the world premiere of Philipp Matthias Kaufmann's "Der König verschenkt was", a commissioned work created for the opening of the newly built, unique children's opera house at Offenbachplatz. He will also sing the roles of the Fisherman and the First Japanese Envoy in Beka Savić's 2015 production of Igor Stravinsky's "The Nightingale", as well as Sadness in "Das Grand Hotel der Gefühle".
