Die Mezzosopranistin Laura Kriese absolvierte ihr Gesangsstudium an der HfMT Köln. Sie erhielt ihre erste gesangliche Ausbildung im Kinderchor unter der Leitung von KMD Martin Rieker in Halle Westfalen. Durch die regelmäßige Teilnahme an Meisterkursen, u.a. bei Daniel Johannsen, Prof. Mario Hoff, Alex Potter, Mateusz Kabala und Brigitte Fassbaender erweitert sie ihre Gesangstechnik wie auch ihre Fähigkeiten der musikalischen Gestaltung sowie Textverständlichkeit stetig.
Ihre freiberuflichen Tätigkeiten als Ensemblemitglied im Collegium Vocale Gent (Philippe Herreweghe) und im Chorwerk Ruhr (Florian Helgath) führten sie auf internationale Konzertreisen nach Budapest (MÜPA), Barcelona (Palau de la Música Catalana), Mailand (Teatro alla Scala), Paris (Philharmonie de Paris) und Zürich (Tonhalle Zürich).
Mit der Partie der ANNINA im „Rosenkavalier“ von Richard Strauss gab sie im Mai 2025 ihr Debut am Aalto Theater Essen.
