Ruth Häde

Vita

The mezzo-soprano grew up in Frankfurt (Oder) and played the viola in various orchestras and ensembles in her youth. From 2015 to 2019 she studied to be a school teacher in the subjects of music (principal instrument: viola) and German; from 2018-2020 she studied singing with Prof. Henryk Böhm at HMTM Hannover and since 2020, she has been studying singing at HfMT Köln with Prof. Lioba Braun.

She took part in masterclasses and received lessons from Prof. Gundula Schneider, KS Angela Denoke, Prof. Dr Marek Rzepka, KS Angelika Kirschschlager, Prof. Benno Schachtner, KS Brigitte Fassbaender and Prof. Dorothea Wirtz.

Previous engagements include a Lehrbub ("Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg") at Theater Osnabrück, Flosshilde ("Rheingold für Kinder") and Schwertleite ("Walküre für Kinder") as well as the title role in "Marla, die Maifliege" at Oper Köln and Tassile ("Alessandro" by G. F. Händel) at Theater Bamberg. Ruth Häde also appears regularly as a concert singer. in 2021 she sang as an alto soloist at the Beethoven Festival Hannover. In the same year she performed the alto solo part in the CD production of the complete sacred works of G. Fauré (Rondeau Production).

She has been a member of the International Opera Studio at Oper Köln since the 2022.23 season.
