CULTURAL PARTICIPATION FOR ALL:
OPER KÖLN SUPPORTS THE "KULTURLISTE KÖLN E.V."
Kulturliste Köln e.V. regularly provides free theatre, opera, concert and reading visits to a steadily growing number of Cologne citizens on a tight budget. In an office in Ehrenfeld, more than 20 dedicated volunteers arrange the free ticket allotments by telephone, which are made available to us by almost 100 cultural partners in the entire Cologne city area. The result is a ‘Foodbank for Culture', which is received with great gratitude, and benefits people whose financial means do not allow them to participate in public cultural life. Oper Köln has been involved for several years and thankfully supports our work with regular invitations to their wonderful performances! Music connects in a particularly special way – that is also why we appreciate these offers so much.
