International Opera Studio of Oper Köln
In the Opera Studio, talented young singers are mentored musically and scenically and experience an initial integration into the opera business. They can gain their first experience for their career in the Kinderoper (opera productions for children) as well as on the main stage.
Cologne Opera Chorus
The Chorus of Oper Köln has been a mainstay of the opera house for 200 years. This professional chorus has been led by chorus director Rustam Samedov since 2018 and displays great versatility through its wide repertoire, including contemporary works.
Gürzenich Orchester Köln
The history of the Gürzenich Orchester in Cologne dates back to music-making during the 15th century. It is now one of the most important orchestras in Germany. Since the 2015.16 season, the Gürzenich Orchester has played at Oper Köln under General Music Director François-Xavier Roth.
