Ferhat Baday
Vita
Der junge türkische Bass Ferhat Baday gewann den 1. Preis beim Wettbewerb für junge Solisten 2022 in Izmir, Türkei. Nach seinem Bachelorstudium am Staatlichen Konservatorium der Dokuz Eylül Universität in İzmir wurde er in das Opernstudio der Komischen Oper Berlin aufgenommen, wo er in den Spielzeiten 2022.23 und 2023.24 u.a. Zarezki in „Eugen und Onegin“, Zweiter Geharnischter in „Die Zauberflöte“, Hofmeister in Jacques Offenbachs „Les Brigands“, Ville Vätte in „Nils Holgerssons wundersame Abenteuer“, Doëg in „Saul“, Erster Totengräber in Ambroise Thomas' „Hamlet“ sowie Herold und Farfarello in „Die Liebe zu den drei Orangen“ interpretierte.
Seit der Spielzeit 2025.26 ist er Teil des Internationalen Opernstudios der Oper Köln. Hier wird er u.a. in „Die Zauberflöte“ als zweiter Geharnischter, in „Der Wunschpunsch“ als Maledictus Made, in „Freikugeln – der Freischütz in fünf Dimensionen“ als Kaspar, in „Ernani“ als Jago und außerdem in der Kinderoper „Max und Moritz“ zu hören sein.
