Ela Beysun
Vita
Ela Beysun, Taub, ist Gebärdensprachpoet*in, Performer*in und Schauspieler*in und studiert Deaf Studies in Berlin. DGS und TİD sind Elas Erstsprachen.
Ela ist seit vielen Jahren tief in der darstellenden Kunst verankert. Beim DEGETH-Theaterfestival in München erhielt Ela 2017 und 2022 den DEGETH-Preis sowie den Publikumspreis und wurde durch die Auszeichnung zu einer Performance in den Münchner Kammerspiele eingeladen.
Die Rolle der Ophelia im „Hamlet“ übernahm Ela 2023 beim Deutschen Gehörlosen-Theater e.V. und tourte mit dem Ensemble durch mehrere Städte. Am Poesieprojekt handverlesen war Ela 2024 beteiligt und entwickelte mit drei Autor*innen ein Kettengedicht, mit dem die Gruppe mehrfach auftrat.
Neben der Kunst engagiert sich Ela seit 2022 in der Initiative Gehörlosen Jugend (IGJ) und hat seit 2024 den Vorsitz an der Deutschen Gehörlosen-Jugend e.V. (DGJ).
