Brig Huezo

Brig Huezo (non-binary) describes themselves as a post-digital choreographer and dance artist.
Huezo is studying contemporary dance at the Cologne University of Music and Dance (2021), supported by the DAAD and private scholarships.
In 2024, Huezo will be awarded the NRW Prize for the Performing Arts.
Huezo's works move between dance, motion tracking, gaming and 3D design, exploring the deconstruction of the body in digital worlds.
Huezo latest production, THE DEATH AT THE CODE! (2024), was nominated for the SK Foundation Culture Dance Theatre Award in Cologne.
Huezo is currently developing the piece PERREANDO HARDCORE in co-production with Tanzhaus NRW, which will premiere in autumn 2025.
