David Manion
Vita
David Manion wurde in Oxfordshire, England, geboren und war am New Theatre Oxford (1999) als Leiter der Beleuchtung tätig, bevor er 2003 zum Glyndebourne Opera House wechselte. Des Weiteren arbeitet er mit internationalen Opernhäusern und Festivals zusammen.
Als stellvertretender Lichtdesigner wirkte er an folgenden Produktionen in Glyndebourne mit: „The Turn of the Screw“ (Opernhaus Teneriffa; Dallas Opera), „Falstaff“ (Glyndebourne Opera Touring), „La Cenerentola“ (Glyndebourne Festival Opera / Glyndebourne Opera Touring), „Die Entführung aus dem Serail“ (Glyndebourne Opera Touring), „Saul“ (Glyndebourne Opera Touring; Adelaide Festival; Houston Grand Opera), „Hamlet“ (Glyndebourne Opera Touring; Adelaide Festival), „Il Barbiere di Siviglia“ (Glyndebourne Opera Touring) und „Billy Budd“ (San Francisco Opera).
Als Lichtdesigner arbeitete er außerdem an den Produktionen „Abschiedskonzert von Vladimir Jurowski“ (Glyndebourne); „Macbeth“ (Glyndebourne Opera) und „Snow Q“ (Brighton Art Project) mit.
