The car park opens for opera guests 90 minutes before the start of the event. The theatre rate for the entire parking period on the evening of the event is €6.

The railway station ‘Köln Messe / Deutz’ is only a short walk away from the StaatenHaus. Please follow the signs in the station building. Your admission ticket is also valid as a ticket for travelling to and from the Rhein-Sieg public transport network, 4 hours before the start of the event until closing time (3 a.m. on the following day). Please note the VRS conditions of carriage. Different conditions of carriage may apply when purchasing tickets online. In addition, the free opera bus runs from 60 minutes before and up to 30 minutes after the performance between the stops ‘Bahnhof Deutz / Messe’ (Ottoplatz, bus platform C), ‘Bahnhof Deutz / Messeplatz’ (Messeplatz, bus platform D&E) and ‘Oper Köln im StaatenHaus’.

Important information:
The Auenweg is completely closed between Deutz-Mülheimer Straße and Zoobrücke with immediate effect and until further notice. Access to the Staatenhaus from Mülheim via the Auenweg is not possible. Access to the RTL car park is only possible from the south (from Deutz/Messe station). Please follow the diversion and allow extra time for your journey.

Bus routes 150, 260 and SB25 are also affected, the bus stop ‘Am Rheinpark’ is cancelled in both directions.
