Marina Stefan studied stage design at the Theaterakademie Maastricht and the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona. She worked as an assistant at the Staatstheater Oldenburg and the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin. Since 2013, she has worked freelance as a set and costume designer as well as a video artist at theatres across Germany. Her work has been featured at Schauspiel Hannover, Oper Bremen, Staatstheater Oldenburg, Schaubühne Berlin, and Neuköllner Oper.
