Opera for Kitas

In the 23.24 season, the mobile Kinderoper will be on tour with "Marla, the Mayfly" in daycare centres and institutions for senior citizens. Here you will find all dates, a play description and the performance conditions.

Over the course of several weeks, we create a lively, creative meeting space for senior citizens with and without dementia and children. In the small mixed group we develop short play scenes and focus on making music and singing around the play "Pin Kaiser und Fip Husar". In addition to the aesthetic experiences, this makes it possible for the different generations to "get to know each other". The joint visit to the opera rounds off the project. Participation in "Unisono" is intended for residential facilities and nearby kindergartens.

In this scenic-musical reading, kindergarten children from the age of 3 are actively involved in the story of the opera character Marla, singing and making music. Together we embark on the adventurous journey of the mayfly. For this we come to your nursery with lots of instruments and props.

Over the course of several weeks, we conduct practical music theatre workshops on the celebrated fairy-tale “Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten" in selected daycare centres. During the story and its music, we creatively explore the themes of friendship, courage and cohesion and build images of interculturality. A visit to a performance rounds off the project.
