Try out theatre for yourself: With simple means we explore the plot, the characters and the impressive music of Gaetano Donizetti's opera. Participation is conditional on attending the performance together (€45 ticket price)

In these open workshops, we invite all audience members to try out their own theatre skills based on our current programme. We create an artistic space in which we improvise, play, discuss and reflect; each time differently on different productions, contents, aesthetics and discourses. For all those who are curious and want a more practical approach. Previous experience and singing skills are not required. The respective performance visits can be booked additionally and participation in the workshop costs 5 € per person plus booking.

During the 2024 Easter holidays, employees of Bühnen Köln invite anyone interested from the age of 14 to their workplaces on or backstage, in workshops or offices. The motto is not just to watch, but to get started yourself. The varied programme and information on registration will be available on the websites of Oper Köln and Schauspiel Köln from 2024.

A SINGTHING
Is music a universal language? And do people have to sing like in the opera to show their feelings? "A Singthing" has developed a multi-sensory evening of arias in collaboration with hearing and deaf artists. A guest performance as part of Oper.Stadt.Schule and the Festival for Contemporary Music Theatre Cologne 2024. The date will be published in the Oper.Stadt.Schule newsletter and on our website.
