Pier-Loup Lacour

Vita

Pier-Loup Lacour, geboren in Montreal, studierte an der École supérieure de ballet du Québec. Nach seinem Abschluss tanzte er bei Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal sowie am Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz. Er performte Werke verschiedener renommierter Choreographen auf der ganzen Welt, darunter beispielswiese George Balanchine, Mats Ek, Andonis Foniadakis, Marco Goecke, Ina Christel Johannessen, Ioannis Mandafounis, Christian Spuck, Stephan Thoss und Christopher Wheeldon. 2019 trat er in zwei Produktionen von Le Cirque du Soleil auf: »Rebel« in Andorra und »Vitori« auf Malta. Zudem neu-inszenierte er ein Stück für Andonis Foniadakis am Staatstheater Hannover. Dies ist seine erste Spielzeit mit dem Ballet of Difference am Schauspiel Köln.
